Technology in
Service of Courage
Smart Fire Tech is building a new kind of company — one where cutting-edge technology exists for a single purpose: to make firefighters safer and communities better protected from fire's most devastating consequences.
Fire hasn't changed.
Our tools should.
Every day, firefighters enter environments that are inherently unpredictable and unforgiving. They carry with them extraordinary training, decades of tradition, and an unwavering commitment to protecting life. What they often lack is the real-time intelligence to match that courage.
Technology has transformed medicine, aviation, and emergency response in remarkable ways — yet the fundamental tools of firefighting have evolved more slowly than the threats they face. Wildfires are growing faster, burning hotter, and reaching communities that have never faced them before. Urban fires carry hazards that didn't exist a generation ago.
Smart Fire Tech was founded on the belief that technology — built with deep respect for fire service tradition and the realities of the job — can change that equation. Not to replace the firefighter. To stand beside them.
Three things we will never compromise on
Everything we build — every decision we make — comes back to these.
Firefighter First
Every technology we develop must make the job of a firefighter safer, faster, or clearer. If it doesn't directly serve the person on the ground or in the air, we're not building it. Technology exists to serve the firefighter — not the other way around.
Honest Innovation
We respect the fire service's hard-won expertise. We're not here to tell firefighters how to do their jobs. We're here to give them better information, better tools, and more time to apply the knowledge they've spent careers earning. Innovation earns trust — it doesn't demand it.
For the Greater Good
Fire does not discriminate. It threatens rural communities and dense cities, volunteer departments and career firefighters, wealthy neighborhoods and vulnerable ones. The technology we build must be accessible and meaningful across all of them — not just the well-funded few.
Two groups.
One mission.
The Firefighters
Career and volunteer firefighters put their lives on the line with every response. They deserve tools that work as hard as they do — tools that give them faster information, clearer pictures of evolving danger, and the ability to make better decisions when seconds matter.
That means technology built for the chaos of the fire ground: rugged, reliable, and genuinely useful. Not another screen to look at, but intelligence that actually changes outcomes.
The Communities
Behind every working fire is a neighborhood at risk. Families, homes, hospitals, schools — communities trust their fire departments to protect what matters most. The better equipped and informed those departments are, the better outcomes for everyone.
Technology that makes firefighting more effective doesn't just protect the responder. It protects the family waiting on the sidewalk. It preserves the home. It saves the business. The community is never the afterthought — they're always the point.
"We believe that technology and tradition are not opposites — they are partners. The courage that has always defined the fire service deserves the best tools the modern world can offer. We're building them."
We're just getting
started.
Smart Fire Tech is in active development. We're working with fire service professionals, researchers, and technology leaders to build something that will meaningfully change how firefighters operate — in wildland terrain and urban environments alike.
We're not ready to announce details yet. When we are, we want the people who care most about this mission to hear it first — fire service professionals, department leaders, community advocates, and anyone who believes technology should serve the greater good.
